We have been running dementia-friendly music sessions in Brighton & Hove since 2014, and since 2016 have been commissioned by NHS Brighton & Hove to deliver 70 sessions per year (currently as part of the 2020-2025 Ageing Well partnership).

We offer a range of sessions for and with people living with dementia:

  • weekly Friday morning Brooke Mead music club: songs, playing accessible instruments, movement, friendly people!
  • bespoke sessions in seniors’ housing and residential settings
  • monthly singing at Jubilee Library, last Monday of the month
  • regular sessions at social centres 

We also have a range of resources available, including musical videos to watch at home.
