Free music training for carers of people living with dementia

We’re very happy to be able to deliver free National Lottery -funded music training this year for carers of people living with dementia. We’re offering this at various locations throughout the city in 2019 & 2020:

  • 24th April & 15th May, 2-4pm, Brooke Mead Extra Care scheme, Albion Street, Brighton
  • 27th June & 18th July, 10am-12pm, Hop 50+, Palmeira Square, Hove
  • 7th October & 4th November, 10am-12pm, Maycroft Manor, Carden Avenue, Brighton
  • December ’19 & January ’20 tbc

If you are a professional or family carer, this training is for you, irrespective of previous musical experience. It is a friendly and a supportive space to learn more about music- and sound- making to connect with your person living with dementia.
